ARCServe for Netware V.5.01d Win Backup Problem

I am experiencing a problem when using the above software for backing up my
library pc's and server.  The backups have been unsuccessful due to some
pc's having "error 5023 Failed To  Receive Packet" message and then it
refers to a truncated file. The file usually is a font file but can be other
files as well.  The pc's are left in the proper manner for the backup to
take place and the server is set to a 512 packet size.  The error appears on
the ARCServe Activity Report for different pc's each night, or some of the
same pc's with a new one added, etc.  It seems to select at random. 

Has anyone experienced problems like this?  Can anyone explain how the files
become truncated? Thank you for your help!
