I don't think there's "one thing" that's most important - there are a lot
of things. Having recently given a presentation on Web site design, and
having just re-tooled our own Web site, my best advice would be to keep in
mind the "big" questions you should ask yourself: Why? Who? What? Where?
When? and How? Or:
Why create/redesign a Web site?
Who is your audience?
What do you put on-line?
Where do you put it on-line (i.e. what is your server)?
When is the best time to do it?
How to do it?
More specifically:
Get input from your boss and/or your colleagues.
Save copies of your original Web page designs - for future reference, and
in case you and/or your boss change your minds.
