Someone asked about training handouts, HTML vs
word-processing formats, maintaining two sets of docs, etc.
Here's what we do: we create them in HTML, and we make them
roughly one or two pages each. After a while you get a feel for
what will be about one or two pages in length, without a lot of
fiddlin'. The time saved by creating and updating in just one
format is well worth the small amount of tinkering you might have
to do to get the document to print the way you want, particularly if
you have a lot of documents to keep current.
