How to suspend list for Spring Break?

I was wondering if anyone could refresh my memory on how to suspend mailings
from this list for a temporary amount of time... i.e. Spring Break...  I
seem to have lost my "destructions" on how to do it and I don't want to look
like a lamer by posting random messages, hoping one works...
