Off-line search utilities

I have been reading with interest the latest PC Magazine (Apr. 8, 1997) 
with regard to "Off-line Search Utilities" (p. 227).  The magazine 
chooses Internet FastFind as the best product, but also reviews such 
products as Corel Internet Mania, CyberSearch, EchoSearch, WebCompass, 
and WebSeeker.  Has anyone had any experience with this type of software 
and, if so, could you share your experience as to what you found was the 
best software, what you found to be the best feature, etc.?
