How to lock down the Find function?

What I did to disable F3-Find was to create a shortcut on the desktop
that took F3 as its hotkey, and pointed that shortcut to a batch file
that contains just an "@" symbol. I also make a change to the registry
preventing execution of real mode programs, so that hitting F3 brings up
the notification that the action is illegal (or something like that).

Our desktops are hidden by registry changes and obscured anyway by our
vendor's menuing system (CARL's Everybody's Menu Builder/Catalog).

This trick also works with Shift-F10, which gets you the context menus
when you have highlighted an object in Explorer or the Win95 Open/Save
dialog boxes.

Hope this helps.
