Hello folks
I did read a message from someone (sorry, can't remember who!) who
said, let's not make this virus thing another major thread. I would
like to re-iterate my apology for wasting your time - it wasted mine
as well. I didn't know enough before about such hoaxes, but now I
have been to various web sites (posted previously) and I have
informed myself, so that if I ever encounter any other such warnings
I can check them out. My reason for not checking it out first was
because I wanted to warn other people about what _ I_ thought was a
danger. I _could_ have just sat there.....and not done anything.
FYI - the original was forwarded to _me_ by a computer
scientist - I have to chuckle....!! :-D I mailed him and said it
was a hoax - and referred him to the aforementioned pages.
Hope it puts an amusing perspective on it.
Anyway, that's enough about viruses. I should say something about
myself by way of introduction (!). I'm 23 and I work for University College
Chester in the UK as a web page support technician. I'm also doing an MSc in
Information Systems so I can build up my knowledge of computer stuff.
I've been doing web pages for just under a year, without any computer
science background - I hold a first degree in theology and
psychology and I'm also doing another Masters in Theology. Needless
to say, both these courses are part time, as is my Web work.
You can visit my home pages at

I'm learning frames at the moment and these pages are in frames, but
I don't _yet_ have a frameless set. (This is coming)
Anyway - that's all for now. I enjoy reading the posts
In peace and goodwill
Jo Lyon
