I have gotten a Java based Telnet applet to work. It does a telent
session to our online catalog from within Netscape. It requires a Java
capable browser. It uses the F1, F2, F3, F4, and F10 function keys in
place of the VT320 PF1, PF2, PF3, PF4 and PF10 keys. It is a VT320
emulation. After you connect just click the mouse inside of the window
and then use the key board. The F10 key doesn't always work.
The URL is:

The latest release of the applet can be found at:
http://www.first.gmd.de/persons/leo/java/Telnet/
It is very well documented.
