Following up on the thread regarding librarians' salaries and those of
computer science professionals:

see the second annual webmaster survey in _WebWeek_, "Rewards, And Duties,
Trend Up For Keepers of Corporate Webs" by Elizabeth Gardener

"The median Webmaster salary is increasing: Almost 73 percent of
respondents reported salaries over
 $45,000, compared with 68 percent last year, and no one made less than
$25,000. However, salaries seem to be stabilizing within a narrower range.
Fewer respondents this year made more than $65,000 (29.3 percent compared
with 37.5 percent last year). "
