Position Opening: Systems Manager - Indiana

*	SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR.  Responsible for maintenance, expansion and
evolution of computer systems in a public library with main library, two
branches and two bookmobiles serving 75,000.  Annual technology budget
$80,000-$100,000.  Current systems include Innovative Interfaces
automation system, CD-ROM network, 3 Windows NT LAN's, Internet access
for staff and public, Web and MS Exchange server, and 56 PC's.  Primary
thrust of 1998 will be development of expanded Web services including: 
*		upgrading from a 56 kb line to a T1, 
*		revising the library's web site,
*		integration of INSPIRE, a state-wide full-text periodical
Interne	service,  and 
*		 conversion of the on-line catalog dumb terminals to PC's.
Additional responsibilities include staff and patron training, working
with outside vendors, assisting in creation of policies and procedures,
and developing  budgets.

Qualifications: MLS, MIS or CS degree. Two years of relevant experience
with Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and MS Exchange, HTML, TCP/IP,
and various Internet protocols such as FTP and Telnet.  Good people,
organization and communication skills.

Salary range: $32,000 - $36,000 dependent upon experience.  Excellent
