If there's anything that the history of this issue suggests to me, it is
that people don't agree on where to draw the line.
I think there are a lot of extreme cases one might cite, but there are also
a lot of gray areas. I'm familiar with various writers who write
everything from political tracts to steamy sex scenes, and a fair amount of
material that crosses over: like political tracts _about_ steamy sex. When
we think about the web, it's even more likely than in print that different
sorts of material by one author will co-exist on one site.
