telnet/tcp program to support diacritics

i'm using mcgill university and PolarSoft inc's TCP3270 for Windows 95/NT,
v. 3.14.  unless i'm missing something, it's not good at all for supporting
OPAC records with diacritical marks.  i'd REALLY appreciate any off-list
recommendations for other programs that would prevent this:
