We use a combination of IKIOSK and Fortres 101 on our public access PCs
which are all running Win95. Fortres does a nice job of locking up the
Windows shell, as well as preventing boot interruption. It also selectively
changes all DOS-bsed files to read-only status. I also agree that IKIOSK
does an excellent job of selectively "graying out" undesireable functions
within Windows-based programs.

With this combination of security programs, it is imperative that the PC
have a *minimum* of 16 MB of RAM. Luckily, it is now generally available
at less than $10/MB. I fondly remember the good old days when RAM was
$50/MB.  :-}
