Netscape errors and locking

I have had similar, but different problems. Whenever a .au or .wav file is
downloaded, it is played, and then netscape.. and all the net dependent
programs lock up.

I end up having to close netscape, trumpwinsock, and sometimes even
restarting windows. This happens on a Gateway pentium with 32 meg ram, and
with netscape 1, 2, and now 3.

Any suggestions?

Isabel
