Jennifer, Beth, and other Mac users,
I believe links to what you need, whether software or at least partial
documentation can be found at:
http://www.macos.apple.com/macos/releases.html
You can update your system free via the Internet. I updated from System
7.1 to System 7.5.5 this way. You are right Jennifer, it takes forever!
Documentation appears to be in bits and pieces on the MacOS site -- but
I wouldn't swear to it -- I haven't searched for complete documentation.
However, the OS is changing in small increments, so using the MacOS site
will definitely keep you more up to date than any print materials.
