I'm unfamiliar with win qvt, so I can't give an answer regarding its
ability to terminate itself automatically. However, the telnet client
EWAN does allow one to configure this option. It is overall a pretty
decent telnet client and it is freeware (although the author does
encourage institutions to contribute money to its development).
I'm certain that EWAN is available at the big FTP sites (WUARCHIVE, Oak
software repository, etc.).
Best wishes,
