The Mary Couts Burnett Library at Texas Christian University  is seeking
an entry level Computer Support Librarian. This position is responsible
for 1) providing support for Internet/WWW access for library staff and
patrons,  2) managing and providing access to the library's collection
of computer-based multi-media materials, 3) overseeing and managing the
library's computer lab and 4) reference desk assistance. The position
will be supervised by the Automated Systems Manager.

Requirements:

MLS from an ALA-accredited library school; experience with software and
hardware installation and troubleshooting on personal computers;
experience using online systems and Internet resources; working knowledge
of HTML markup language; and strong communication skills. Previous
experience with computer networks,  academic libraries, and design and
preparation of training materials desirable.  Preference will be given to
candidates whose applications are received by  June 15, 1996.

Salary: $25,000.
