	Recently as many of the libraries in the third world are also 
	getting hooked to the internet connection they really are facing 
	a lot of problems in decieding their acquisition policies for their 
	collection developement. i have been asked to have a detailed report 
	on on the topic Impact of New Information Technology on acquisition 
	and collection developement and their impact on Library and Information 	Professionals.
	
	I would be happy if a lot of contributors from the developed countries
	would be able to help us in this disscussion.
