LIBRARY SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
DePaul University, Chicago, IL

The DePaul University Libraries have an excellent opportunity for a 
Systems Administrator.  This position supports the libraries? Solaris
2.4/Novell 4.1
network of more than 200 users on six campuses. 

The successful applicant will have 2 years experience administering 
Solaris, Windows (95 or NT preferred), and Novell in a decentralized
environment.  

Knowledge of c++, Perl, HTML and http servers is desirable.

Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple projects
simultaneously.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
required. Must enjoy working with a diverse user population. 

Local travel between the six campuses (Loop, Lincoln Park, DesPlaines, 
Oak Brook, Naperville, and Oak Forest) will be required. 

A bachelor?s degree in Computer or Information Science is preferred.
Salary in the low to mid 30's. Excellent benefits including TIAA/CREF and
4 weeks vacation.
