Thanks to the dozens who popped up with suggestions about the cache and 
leaving a quotation mark open.  I'd been puzzled because more than one 
computer had been retrieving the file with the error, but clearing 
all their caches worked.  

Obviously, I'll have to come up with more complicated mistakes to baffle 
readers of this listserv! :>
