Telnet configuration for Internet Explorere for Mac

Does anyone have any experience configuring Telnet in Internet Explorer
2.1b1 for the Macintosh. It appears that you can configure it using the
Internet Configuration  or the Helper Applications selection, but when I do
that, and then select a Telnet link, it informs me that I need a Telnet
program. Please enlighten if possible.
