Reset Netscape to HomePage Timer - follow up question

We are planning in a few months to provide access to our Library's
Compact Disc Network, as well as internet resources through our
Library's (yet to be developed) home page on the WWW. Our Windows
and Netscape software will be running on a Novell NetWare fileserver,
currently running NetWare v3.11 (soon to be upgraded to v4.1). We,
too, are interested in this time-out feature.
Also, we would like to provide access to the E-Mail feature within
Netscape. In order for this to work, we must specify, within
Netscape's Options, our library's mail server address, and the user
must enter their E-Mail address here, as well. It would be nice if,
after a set time of inactivity, the user's E-Mail address could be
reset to some default value (i.e., blank).
I would be interested in how other libraries have dealt with these
two issues;
