Plea for Common Sense

Look folks, I try to take a "hands-off" approach to managing this 
discussion. I prefer not to pass judgment on the appropriateness of 
particular postings or discussion threads. But frankly I think we have 
passed even my liberal bounds lately, with postings that have nothing 
whatsoever to do with the topic at hand: library-based World Wide Web 
servers and developers.

We are now well on our way to 2,400 subscribers world wide. We are all 
busy people. How well or ill your posting contributes to the quality of 
the discussion is how 2,399 people will judge you. You decide.
