CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRESENTERS

The NOTIS User's Group Meeting (NUGM) - Cataloging/Authorities Special
Interest Group (SIG) is looking for presenters for one session to be given at
the  NUGM Annual Meeting at the Palmer House in Chicago, September 19-21
(tentative), 1996.

Session' s title:

WWW Home Pages for Technical Services (TS) Departments

The Cataloging/Authorities SIG is looking for 3 presenters for this session
- preferably representing NOTIS sites (conference registration will be
waived for presenters) - to address some of the following issues:

-how to create a home page
-hardware, software and training staff needs
-types of information to be included in TS home pages
-selection & maintenance of TS electronic resources
-intended audience for TS home pages (internal, external?)
-consortium home pages
-using WWW software for training, presentations or other dept.'s needs
-legal issues (copyright, licensing, etc.)
-local policies and/or detailed procedures
-who is doing it/job description
