Websites for professional activity and development

An upcoming article I'm doing is on websites about librarianship. I'm
thinking particularly of key sites such as:

Library Resource List
http://www.state.wi.us/agencies/dpi/www/lib_nii.htm

The Library Web Manager's Reference Center
http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/Web4Lib/faq.html

As well as websites for the professional associations (such as ALA).
Metasites, in other words, related to librarianship, particularly anything
related to professional development, but also to the practical aspects of
library work. I'm interested in hearing about individual sites, as well,
IF they aren't archived anywhere else.

Thanks!
