Lawrence Magid - computer columnist known to many of you from his excellent
"Child Safety on the Information Highway" brochure distributed by many
libraries and linked to by many others, at:
http://www.4j.lane.edu/InternetResources/Safety/Safety.html has written a
really nice article about Internet access in libraries and the importance of
their providing that access. It was published in Computer Currents' August
13 issue and is online at: http://www.currents.net/uout/
Since we're facing a bond measure, the last line was especially timely.
