Dynix and web isp relations

I was asked by a public librarian what was the best way for them to do 
their web site: Dynix, their opac provider, or the local ISP. I suggested 
the local ISP because they will have problems and the ISP is local which 
means better and quicker support for web site problems. Have any folks 
had any experiences working with Dynix supporting their entire web site? 
Please email and if their is interest I will repost and probably blank 
out identifiers is there are problems.
