Finger is a program generally used to find information about a 
user on a specific host.  We use it to provide feedback to
folks who have made registration requests.  Using our "finger"
with the "NIC" tracking number assigned your request, you can
retrieve status info about your request.  Perhaps the easiest
way to do this is via our WWW-based interface at the URL:

	http://rs.internic.net/cgi-bin/finger
