Non-anonymous ftp with Netscape

Greetings,

I've just been lurking here for about a year, gleaning much useful
information. I'm hoping someone can answer this question for me. I like
the fact that Netscape can act as an all in one internet application,
either on its own, or with appropriate "helper" applications configured to
run with it. But, the one problem I run into again and again is when I
need to ftp something from a site which requires a user name and a
password.

Sure, I have an ftp application that handles this just fine, but I'm
wondering if one can do this with Netscape? I imagine that you should be
able to include the username and password in the "Open Location" dialogue
box, but I'm not certain that you can, or what the syntax would be.

If anyone has any experience with this, I'd greatly appreciate hearing it.

Thank you.

Tim
