The issue is not bandwidth, of course.  A hundred bloggers each sending a
hundred posts a day would probably still not be a bandwidth issue, if you're
talking about fiber optics and ethernet cables.  ("If a blogger and a half can
send a post and a half in a day and half...")

The issue is the distinctly narrowband capacity of our attention and interest.
 Web4Lib succeeds because it has always aimed to be a conversation, not a
series of soapboxes for lectures or [self-]promotional material.

You call it complaining.  I consider it to be a healthy and natural way for the
community to periodically redefine the ground rules and boundaries for the
conversation.
