I'd say anywhere between 50 and 60% is normal, maybe even high, in 
the real world.  People have varying levels of literacy and 
computer-literacy, many speak other languages, they have wildly 
diverging ways to ask for information, they often don't understand 
the results we give them.  Sure, we can try to find the sweet spot: 
the best prompts and labels and displays for the most people, but 
we'll never be perfect.

However, our computer systems are a whole lot better than card catalogs!
