North Bay Cooperative Library System has a metacatalog
named Supersearch that connects libraries in several
Northern California counties. It uses Z39.50 to display
holdings information taken directly from each library's
opac, so it displays the current location and
circulation status for each copy of an item. The
libraries that are linked use a variety of opac
platforms, including Dynix, CARL, and Innovative
Interfaces.

There is a link to Supersearch on the NBCLS web site at
http://www.nbcls.org
To visit, log in as guest. For more information,
contact Sue Widmer at ssearch at sonic.net.
