Our libraries' policies are mixed as far as email for the public is
concerned, but the student labs allow access to pop3 mail by using Eudora,
which is configured to store the mail and all settings on a floppy rather
than the hard drive of the PC. It has its good points and bad. Users are
limited to what can fit on a floppy, and disks don't always travel well
across versions of Eudora. Students seem to appreciate it. --Cindi
