children accessing porn; adults turning off filterware

I think we are all missing the real issue.  Nobody is interested in
peddling porn or sexually explicit stuff to children. To the extent that
we believe that peddling porn to children is the issue, we evade dealing
with the facts.  It's time for all of us to abandon rhetoric in favor of
finding practical solutions to the problems without diminishing the
legitimate rights of all involved.
