HP?

While I don't buy LOTS of computers, I have bought a couple of HPs, off the
shelf. These were Pavilions, not Vectras. I found them very solid. 

One thing to watch, on HPs as well as others: if you're planning to run
Windows NT, make sure the video hardware included is supported by NT.
