The world of technical services is more complex than ever before,
presenting challenges to the veteran and new librarian alike.  The ALCTS
Technical Services Managers in Academic Libraries Interest Group invites
you to join us Saturday, June 27th in the Moscone Convention Center room
2012 (W) from 8:30-10:00 am to discuss these challenges and brainstorm
solutions.

Join your colleagues at roundtables featuring topics such as:

   - Technical Services Managers as project managers
   - Institutional Repositories: Who, What, When, Where, …Why?
   - The Sudden Acquisitions Librarian: What do I do now?
   - What qualities and skills does a leader in Technical Services need
   today vs ten years ago?
   - Are there resources for which it is appropriate to rely on your
   discovery layer rather than cataloging them?
   - What new services/products are challenging the tools and/or talent of
   Technical Services today?
