Registration is now open our April 23rd online conference, Linked Data & RDF: New Frontiers in Metadata and Access. The conference will explore RDF, linked data and their applications in libraries.

The conference will kick off with Richard Wallis, OCLC's Technology Evangelist, and his presentation Filling the Black Hole. Wallis has an international reputation for insightful and entertaining keynote sessions at library, Web, and Semantic Web focused events.

The day will continue with Betsy Fulford presenting BIBFRAME and Linked Data while Uche Ogbuji will speak about Library Visibility from Library Linked Data. These, as well as many more presentations, will help libraries eager to access their resources not only from within their catalogs but also from web searches.

As a benefit of membership, Amigos members always attend our online conferences free of charge. Non-members should register by April 10th for Early Bird discount pricing. Check out the conference website (http://www.amigos.org/linked_data) for complete registration information, schedules, and session descriptions.
