As some of you in & around Chicago may or may not know, there is a Code4Lib Chicago group called ChiCode4Lib. [1]

There is a tiny bit of noise regarding a Code4Lib “regional” meeting in Chicago, and folks who attend such things are certainly NOT necessarily expected to be library hackers in any way, shape, or form. Maybe many of us can get together for a one-day event in order to share war stories? Subscribe to the list? And as the group’s tag line states:

  This group primary role is to solve problems
  in Chicago Libraries. Our motivation is to
  improve (usually but NOT ALWAYS through code).
