Operations Manager position at Cedar Park Public Library

The Cedar Park Public Library is a vibrant community center that boasts some of the highest circulation and program attendance numbers in the state of Texas.  We are seeking an adaptable, innovative and tech savvy library professional to oversee daily operations and provide internal and external customer service through their leadership and technical expertise.  The position requires strong team skills, supervisory experience, knowledge of current library trends and technology, excellent communication skills, and passionate commitment to public service.  The schedule may include evenings and weekends.

Candidates must possess an equivalent to a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Library Science (MLS), or Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a public library system including two (2) years of administrative and/or supervisory responsibility.  Experience managing library technology preferred, including a major Integrated Library System.
