receiving a Virtual Desktop over the Internet

Hallo,
I think once it is booted up the speed depends on the hardware used. You
might want to look into something like this:
http://www.webconverger.com/ http://webconverger.org/
http://openkiosk.sourceforge.net/ or
http://www.cybercafepro.com/
Instead of a USB drive what about using a CD to boot up? Lock the cd tray
up behind the desk / box the machine is in - a harddisk for the operation
is necessary anyhow.
