And I should have said that an icon set is one image. And have had no problem recoloring based on available formats.

No bees knees answer here, but I've had success in the past mix and matching icon sets from royalty free sites such as Shutterstock. E.g.

http://goo.gl/5qTAyP or http://goo.gl/kggjYF

Shutterstock is pretty reasonable you can get licensed use for 2 images for $29, 5 for $49 or go all out and download 25 a day for future use over a month period for $249.

Subject: [WEB4LIB] icons

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone out there has done any icon work for their web content. We've got a hodgepodge of icons we've pulled from multiple places, but no uniform set that clearly enhances the UX. Recent work with Bootstrap made me a fan of Glyphicons<http://glyphicons.com/> but looking over these, I'm seeing significant gaps in what we'll need. For example, there aren't a lot of library oriented icons...copy machines, group study rooms, e-readers, etc.

One thought was to start with Glyphicons and then add on as we need, but before we do that, I wondered if anyone out there has discovered the bees-knees of library icon sets.

My preference would be sets that come in either font sets or SVGs. But I'm flexible here.

Thanks for any advice!
