The latest issue of *Library Leadership & Management* is now available
online at http://journals.tdl.org/llm/index.php/llm/index<http://maildogmanager.com/link.html?url=3909&client=ala1&campaign=1184&email=elizabeth.blakesley@gmail.com>

In this issue, our peer-reviewed article deals with risk. Tony Horava
describes Prospect Theory and its role in risk-taking behaviors in academic
libraries. This issue also has three feature articles that will be of
interest to many readers. Margaret Brown-Sica and Rice Majors outline a
way to infuse an everyday schedule with strategic thinking and planning. Neil
Romanosky and Fritz Dement describe the experiences of the NYU Health
Sciences Library in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. In our third
feature article, Steven Staninger applies deconstruction theory to library
organizational structures.

Our columnists have again tackled intriguing topics for this issue. Jennifer
Bartlett shares readings on the "Elusive Goal of Work-Life Balance," while
Patricia Katopol describes methods for redefining positions within an
organization. In a thought-provoking piece on the differences between
leadership and management, Pixey Mosley explores issues regarding
recruiting leaders and fostering leadership. Although unplanned, the
columns this month create an interesting set about workplace issues. In
the final column, Leo Lo invites us to consider different skills and
abilities during recruitment for positions.

Please contact Editor Beth Blakesley (beth.blakesley at wsu.edu) or incoming
Editor Brad Eden (brad.eden at valpo.edu) with any comments or questions. Don't
forget that we are recruiting for the next Associate Editor; please see the
notice in the issue.

Thanks for your continued interest in and support of LL&M and LLAMA.
