RES: [WEB4LIB] Searching in Libraries

This is one of those eternal discussions.

On one hand resource-specific searching, and some training on how to do it
trumps simpler searches in returning relevant results.

On the other hand, Google.

Most of the tools to search everything involve search engines like Solr.
Done right, the result can be a great balance of single window searching,
faceted results, and deeper search tools. The only downside is that it
takes resources, infrastructure and time to do it.
