combining results from e-book aggregators into one web page

Hi,

In Ireland there are several e-book aggregators which allow library members to download books from a website that is customised to look like the library's own website. Is it possible for a library to use more than one aggregator, but present the results on one page?

My idea is that the e-book search would be forwarded to the library's own server where a script would forward the search to multiple aggregators. The results would be returned from the aggregators to the script, perhaps as XML, and the script would then sort the results before presenting them to the browser of the client PC.

Is this feasible?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
