Feedback Request - Using Parallels 9 for Mac

Hi,
Is anyone out there using Parallels 9 for Mac?  Do you have any feedback on
running this?  The PC laptops that we are able to purchase for staff don't
have the processing power that we need, but we can order Macbook pros and
configure them as needed.  A new staff member needs more processing power
than what we can get on the PCs, but also needs to use native Windows
Microsoft Office tools and a few other windows programs.  Using Parallels
would solve this we think, but are there any implications for speed, or
performance? Remote Desktop is also an option, but they will need a
reliable way to change back and forth between operating systems
