Reference service continues to evolve to meet needs of users at the point of need. MOOCs, Mobile Technologies - Their Impact on Reference Service will focus on the role of librarians in massive online open courses (MOOCs) and library use of mobile technologies to reach out to patrons.

We have a day packed with thoughtful presentations that cover the experiences of librarians in academic, public, and special libraries. Our goal is to construct a clearer picture of where reference service is today and where it may be in the future.      "
