VDI vs PCoIP

We swapped out 50 of our public pc's in August and replaced them with
wyze "zero client" boxes connecting to a vmware server. Since we don't
have to maintain the vmware server I can only address the client side of
things.

To date our experience has been entirely positive. The wyze boxes have
no fans or moving parts so there's been a noticeable reduction in noise.
We've experienced no performance issues. We can fix configuration
problems and upgrade software faster than we were able to in the past.
They don't require Deepfreeze which will save us a little bit of money.
We've had no hardware failures with the clients and the fears of the
skeptics have proven unfounded. Our goal now is replace our remaining
public pc's.
