Google Scholar and Library Links

Hi Richard,

I don't think so. As far as I can tell , the new My Library feature (http://googlescholar.blogspot.com/2013/11/google-scholar-library.html) is just a method to save individual articles, associated with your Google account. It doesn't have anything to do with whether the library links show up or not - that is determined either by IP address, or by the user choosing which library links appear using Google Scholar preferences (which is then stored in a cookie). So, our hypothetical off-campus user could both be logged into our proxy server and accessing Google Scholar through the proxy, and logged into their individual Google account to use the Google Scholar My Library feature.

If anyone has any conflicting information, I'd be glad to know about it, though!

Katie

Katie- do you anticipate that the proxied access will create any conflicts with the new "my library" feature of Google Scholar?
