Students, teachers, authors, and publishers all have a stake in the textbook industry. As textbook publication models are transformed by online interactivity and open-source content, what are the implications for these stakeholders, particularly in terms of financial and intellectual property aspects? Is there a role for libraries in this rapidly shifting landscape?
