JCDL 2012 DEADLINES REMINDER

Don't forget to register and book your hotel room for the 12th ACM/IEEE-Computer Society Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL 2012). JCDL 2012, this year's premiere international conference on all things related to digital libraries, is only a month away. The program is loaded with a rich corpus of papers, posters, and demonstrations, and the conference is open to all. More information is available from the conference website, http://jcdl2012.info, including links to the registration form, hotel reservations pages, travel tips, and a full schedule of events.

The conference themes of preserving, linking, using, and sharing are amplified throughout the conference program, including keynote addresses by Jason Scott of the Archive Team, Carole Goble of the myGrid project, and George Dyson, author of Turing's Cathedral. The venue is located in the heart of the U.S. capital city, with easy access to affordable accommodations, significant cultural attractions, and a variety of transportation options.

Early registration ends on May 21st, so take advantage of the reduced rate today. Late registration begins the following day, and continues through the duration of the conference. Hotel rooms are available at the conference rate through May 28th. The George Washington University Inn and One Washington Circle Hotel are offering a discount of 10 US$/night if you book now, so don't hesitate to take advantage of this rare opportunity of great rooms in great locations at great rates.
